Natural Star Nani’s latest outing The Paradise is performing well at the box office. Despite mixed initial talk, the film has seen a steady turnaround, with positive word of mouth contributing to stronger collections over the past few days.
The Paradise has wrapped up its extended weekend, crossing the 150 Cr milestone and reaching a 155 Cr+ worldwide gross. This is the biggest first weekend gross for Nani. With a major chunk of the investment already recovered, the film is now said to be around 2 to 3 days away from reaching the breakeven mark. The film is expected to reach the breakeven mark in Nizam today.
The film’s performance is not limited to the Telugu states. The Paradise has crossed the 10 Cr+ gross mark in Karnataka, while its Hindi-market performance has also improved, with the film surpassing 7.2 Cr net in the North belt. It is already the highest grosser for Nani in Hindi and Tamil languages. The movie is moving towards the $2.5 Million mark across all territories in overseas.
Overall, The Paradise has sold 19.6 lakh tickets so far on BookMyShow. The film continues to see bookings after the extended weekend, with online ticket bookings showing positive trends for today. Trade analysts believe The Paradise will have a sustained theatrical run.
