
“Usually, I am averse to doing remakes. Once the magic is created, it is not possible to recreate it. So when I heard they are making Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya, I am honestly disappointed. I am shocked at how beautiful they made the film. I called them and appreciated,” Nani revealed.
“I thought Satya and Roopa will bring that relatability and genuineness to the song. This looks more like a sequel to UMUR. They look like doctors and also someone next door. I am worried if they will work during the Lockdown with a kid and parents. I gave him the option to reject but he agreed after discussing with people at home,” he added.
Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya has released on Netflix during the COVID first wave and was critically appreciated. Probably, that film may have changed the opinion of Nani about remakes.
