National media outlets have begun comparing Peddi to these iconic films- not for similarity in plot, but for its cinematic scale, compelling storytelling, and the uncompromising physical and emotional transformation Ram Charan brings to the screen. After watching the trailer on the big screen, journalists were struck by its gripping narrative style, Charan’s impeccable performance, and the film’s breathtaking visuals.
The comparisons only strengthen Peddi’s momentum, especially with the unanimous positive response pouring in from all sides. But unlike Sultan and Dangal, which revolved around wrestling, Peddi expands its canvas across multiple sports- cricket, wrestling, sprinting, and an undisclosed sport that director Buchi Babu Sana has intentionally kept under wraps.
