Negative Reviews: Actor’s Disaster Analysis

A film is always bound to get polar response from the audience regardless of its scale and quality. In the case of Indian 2 which released recently, it mostly garnered negative reviews.

On this topic, Bobby Simha, a noted Tamil actor who played an important role in the film had a disastrous analysis on the kind of reception the film got.

Reacting to the question on negative reviews the film had received, Bobby said “there’s a section of audience who want to project themselves as clever individuals by saying the film is bad. They think saying a film is bad will make them look intellectual. We don’t care about them.”

The actor added that the team is happy that the target audience are liking the film and the family audience are lapping it up.

Well, for starters, the box office performance of a film is a testament of the public interest in the film. In the case of Indian 2, the numbers have been pathetic, considering its sequel advantage and scale.

It is evident that the masses and moviegoers at large have turned down the film. At this point, a reputed actor who played a crucial role in the film saying their target audience are different and labelling negative reviews as wannabe intellectuals served no purpose.

Even netizens are fuming at Bobby for trying to belittle those who genuinely didn’t like the film.
