Netflix Bets Big On Amazon’s Blockbuster!

Vishwak Sen‘s HIT – The First Case produced by Natural Star Nani is one of the very few hits of Tollywood in 2020 before the Pandemic struck. The movie is successful in theaters and it had released on Amazon Prime Video in the early days of the first Lockdown.

The movie was very successful on Amazon Prime Video as the audience used to have very limited entertainment options in the Lockdown. Now, the movie is being remade in Bollywood with Raj Kummar Rao in the lead role. Dil Raju is producing the film along with T-Series.

Netflix is the Digital partner for the Bollywood project. The movie has been launched this morning in Mumbai with a Pooja ceremony. Sanya Malhotra of Dangal fame is the heroine while Sailesh Kolanu, the director of the Original is making his Bollywood debut with this remake.

This is the Second Bollywood project of Dil Raju after Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey. Interestingly, both the films are remakes of Telugu Blockbusters. Jersey is ready for release but has been delayed due to the pandemic.
