One more giant on its way to AP

Netgear an US based company would like to start its manufacturing activities for its products at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. The company keen to engage with Foxconn to manufacture its routers and other networking products.

The company already had two manufacturing units in China and Vietnam. Incidentally, both manufacturing facilities partnered with Foxconn only. The company chairman and Co-founder Patrick C.S. Lo said that the company is eagerly considering the option to ‘Make In India’ which is ambitious project of Narendra Modi Government.

The Faxconn facility at Sri City would help the company to export the products manufactured through Chennai port to various Asian nations told by Lo. If all things goes well, then Netgear would be the fourth major player to partner with Foxconn at Sri City.
