The movie Ai direceted by Shankar features actors Vikram, Amy Jackson among others in the main role. It seems a large scale movie and recently director Shankar came out to talk about the logistics. For instance, Shankar insisted that in this movie, the need for make-up and costumes is great. It is for this reason that they brought in New Zealand based Weta Studios, who are famous for their makeup skills having worked on films like Hobbit series and Lord of the Rings. And it seems that actor Vikram was a major target for all the makeup sessions but the actor gladly accepted the pain saying when would he ever get an opportunity like this again! As Shankar puts it, Vikram is treat for any director.
