Nikhil’s Bollywood Debut – Good Idea?

Nikhil Sidharth is one of the safest among the young heroes to work with and he had a carved a niche for himself in the Telugu Film Industry. Unlike other young heroes who have an eye for Tamil movies, Nikhil is said to be looking towards Bollywood.

According to the latest update on his next, Nikhil has been in talks with Hyderabad-born Bollywood director Nagesh Kukunoor for his next which is said to be a bilingual movie. Nagesh Kukunoor had won several international awards besides winning a National Award for his film ‘Iqbal’.

Coming to Nikhil, it’s a known fact that the acceptance for South heroes in Bollywood is very difficult until and unless there is a universal concept to tell. Even if we keep the acceptance issue aside, the tastes of the audiences in North and South are quite different.

So, it would be a challenge for Nagesh Kukunoor to deliver a script that would cater to the tastes of pan-Indian audiences. It’s to be seen how Nikhil could make himself acceptable to the Bollywood audiences.
