Nikhil Losing A Good Opportunity?

In an interesting turn of events, Nikhil’s Karthikeya 2 which was announced for release on 22 July might get postponed to August 5th.

It is rumored that Dil Raju is behind this postponement. He wants a solo release for Naga Chaitanya’s Thank You which is releasing on 22nd July.

If Karthikeya 2 really does get postponed, it would mean that Nikhil would end up on the losing side.

Karthikeya 2 built up decent buzz thanks to the impressive trailer. It would have been optimal to release the film on 22nd July when the buzz is positive.

The postponement might act against Karthikeya 2’s cause.

Moreover, August 5th is already a packed day at the box office. Dulquer Salman’s Sita Ramam and Kalyan Ram’s Bimbisara releasing on the same day. If Karthikeya 2 picks this date, then it is in for some competition which is not all that optimal either.
