Nikhil’s Goes Spritual Lighting 365 Lamps

Karthika Pournami, the sacred month is mainly associated with women lighting lamps in Lord Shiva’s temples every year. But, many don’t know that this auspicious month isn’t just for women.

Look at Nikhil lighting the lamps at Skandagiri Temple of Lord Subramanya Swamy aka Lord Karthikeya in Secunderabad. There is usally heavy rush to this temple during this month and in the background, we can see devotees visiitng the temple.

Every year, Nikhil Siddharth says he goes to this temple to light 365 lamps as per the tradition that prevails, one lamp for every day of the year and therefore 365 lamps.
