Produced by Ram Charan, the project has generated early excitement, especially with Nikhil expressing his happiness over collaborating with Charan.
Though Ram Charan couldn’t attend the launch in person, he shared his support through social media, assuring fans of the film’s quality.
The film also stars Saiee Manjrekar as the female lead and is scheduled for a major release in 2025.
The launch ceremony included a divine blessing from a temple elephant, marking the start of what many expect to be a landmark film in Nikhil’s career.
However, the project hit a tragic roadblock when a major accident occurred on set on Wednesday. A large water tank — built near Shamshabad for shooting ocean scenes — suddenly burst, flooding the entire area.
Several crew members were injured in the incident, with the assistant cameraman reportedly sustaining serious injuries.
Emergency teams rushed to the spot, and shooting has been halted for now.
The team has yet to release an official statement, but fans are hoping for a swift recovery for the injured and a safe continuation of the shoot.
