Surprise Winner at the US Box Office This 2016

Over the past few years, Tollywood has found a strong foothold in the US market as Telugu films are releasing on par with India. Naturally, when there is so many releases, the question of which hero’s film did well overseas will naturally arise.

So, taking all these factors into consideration, it is clearly revealed that Nithin’s A.Aa stood on top this year as it collected close to 2.5 million in its final run.

This feat is quite surprising as Nithin managed to beat star heroes like Pawan, Mahesh and even NTR whose films, Nannaku Prematho and Janatha Garage stood second and third in the list.

This clearly shows that Nithin’s stamina at the box office has increased but he needs to thank his director Trivikram as it is only because of him and his overseas popularity that Nithin’s film managed to reach those figures.

Generally, it is Mahesh Babu’s films or a one time wonder like Baahubali which are on the top, but Nithin can at least be happy this time that he has beaten some top heroes to win the top spot in the overseas market for 2016.
