No checks for Superstars in US

India and Us are working to include some noted individuals from India in the ‘Global Entry Program’ of US where in the individuals listed under this program wouldn’t have to go through regular customary check ups when they visit US. India is presently in the process of shortlisting the names of persons to be included.

Besides the names of present President of the country, Prime Ministers, ex-presidents and ex-PMs of the country and several renowned persons who visit US regularly, Bollywood superstars Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachan were said to be in the proposed list by the government of India.

Individuals included in the list would have a machine readable passport and they would be directly given the custom declarations after taking the finger prints. They would be spared from delayed processes of customary check ups at the airports.

India is going to prepare this list soon and the individuals included shouldn’t have a criminal background nor included in any money laundering case.
