Overall, Kamal Haasan’s movie premiere had a better opening compared to the other two biggies. Of couse, Kamal’s movie was premiered in more locations compared to Ajith’s ‘Vedalam’.

The reasons behind this poor figures for Akhil’s debut movie seem to be bad weather in some places and week day release. But with the kind of promotions the film makers did in overseas, trade was not expecting these disappointing figures for Akhil.
