No Massive package to Andhra Pradesh?

A Special interview of Venkaiah Naidu this morning is disappointing for people who have been waiting for the Prime Minister’s visit to announce a massive package to the state just like what is given for Bihar. In the interview, Venkaiah Naidu categorically said a massive package can not be given for the state at one go.

But the center’s help will be in phases and will be continuous. He also said that the concentration should be first on developing administrative capital and focus should be next on tourism and investments.

Many doubt if Venkaiah is preparing people for the meager help to be announced by the Prime Minister. He also said that AP do not satisfy three out of the four conditions needed for Special Status and also added that it is not a Sanjeevani for all the problems.
