No One Even Appreciated Nani Including Rajamouli?

Leave about the box-office fate, when an out-of-the-box movies comes out in any language, the film fraternity will be the one to carry the movie on the shoulders and appreciate it high regardless of its commercial viability.

In case of ‘Awe’, the industry folks didn’t take much notice of the movie thought it was an out-and-out out-of-the-box movie, in true sense. None of the big directors or popular names including Rajamouli openly lauded the movie. Such movies are rare in our industry.

Rajamouli has this habit of encouraging small films hence makes sure to drop in a word of appreciation for them. Though he attended the pre-release event of ‘Awe’ and wished the movie would work, he didn’t respond after release. Maybe, he didn’t watch the movie, yet. The last film that he appreciated was ‘Tholi Prema’.

Director Prashanth Varma revealed that even Nani didn’t get any calls from biggies appreciating the movie. Nevertheless, several small time actors sent positive tweets after the special screening of ‘Awe’.
