The movie Sriranganeethulu starring Suhas and Ruhani Sharma is set to be released on YouTube instead of an OTT platform. The premiere date has been confirmed for May 30th.
Suhas, who has been actively working on multiple projects, starred in Sriranganeethulu. Earlier this year, he appeared in Ambajipet Marriage Band and Prasannavadanam.
Sriranganeethulu, which was released in theaters on April 11th, did not perform well at the box office. The film received little promotion, which contributed to its poor performance at the box office. Many were unaware of its release, and even Suhas did not promote the movie. The film was a washout.
The official announcement about the YouTube release was made via a tweet from Sri Bhavani HD Movies.
Sriranganeethulu is an anthology film directed by Praveen Kumar VSS, featuring Suhas, Viraj Ashwin, Ruhani Sharma, and Karthik Ratnam in lead roles. The story revolves around the challenges faced by each of the main characters.
There were rumors about Sony Liv acquiring the movie for OTT streaming, but these were not substantiated. The decision to release it on YouTube suggests that an OTT deal was not finalized. This happens at a time when Sushas is seen as a safe bet for the OTT market.
