No Pawan Kalyan, No Problem, It Will Go Ahead

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has recently made it clear that he wouldn’t be getting on sets anytime soon. He had explicitly said that only after vaccine it would be possible. But, the makers of one of his upcoming projects have a different plan.

The film in question is Vakeel Saab. It is heard that Dil Raju and team have decided to go ahead with the shoot when the conditions are favourable (i.e. even if vaccines are not available). The scenes which do not require Pawan Kalyan will be finished.

Later, when things are okay, the scenes involving Pawan Kalyan would be shot. They are mostly flashback portions involving female lead opposite Powerstar. Shruti Haasan will be essaying that part, though an official confirmation is still awaited.

Vakeel Saab has completed most of its shoot before the lockdown itself. Had it been a couple of weeks late, the entire talkie would have been wrapped.

Oh My Friend and Middle Class Abbayi fame Venu Sriram directs Vakeel Saab. It is the official remake of Bollywood multiplex hit Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan and Tapsee. S Thaman provides the music, and the first single ‘Maguva Maguva’ is already out.

The joint production of Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor will hit the screens in the first half of 2021. The plans are to bring it to Sankranthi 2021, but It will depend on when the shoot gets complete, though.
