Despite the buzz about this topic, South Indian actress Samantha has made the decision to not dub for upcoming film, Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu (YVM) with Gautham Menon. Singer Chinmayee, who has done playback singing for all her films is the one lending his voice for this movie as well, even though trailers for the film have Samantha’s voice in the songs.
Samantha, however, is dubbing the movie’s Tamil counterpart, Neethane En Ponvasantham. Sam tweeted, “Did not dub for YVM.. Sorry.. Don’t want to risk it.. And disappoint chinmayi’s fans. NEP will be my voice.. Can’t wait…”. Samantha has Nani is paired opposite her in YVM, while Jiiva stars in the Tamil version.
