No Surprise From Nani’s Jersey

Natural Star Nani’s Jersey has completed its Censor formalities, and it has got a clean U rating. It comes as no surprise actually and also clears airs on some confusion.

If one has watched the trailer, the opening segment involves romance between the lead pair of Nani and Shradha Srinath. Usually, that would be enough to give a U/A rating, but it seems that the segment has less screen time. Also, this is the same block that has a connection with recently released Majili, so it also indirectly puts an end to that comparison as well.

With a clean U certificate and Nani’s current form of selecting minimum guarantee projects, Jersey has become a hot property. It is only releasing on a holiday which is sure to boost its collections.

Gowthan Tannanuri directs Jersey. It is his second film after Mallirava. Anirudh has provided the music, and incidentally, Jersey is also his second straight Telugu movie. The Suryadevara Naga Vamsi production will hit screens worldwide on April 19th.
