No takers for Suriya’s challenge

‘My Tree Challenge’ that was initiated by Malayalam actor Mammootty has become viral, especially with celebrities down South. The Swati Kiranam star has nominated Surya and Vijay a few days ago and both the stars have accepted the challenge and planted saplings. Kollywood actor Suriya took up the ‘My Tree Challenge’ and planted a tree at his house.

Although Vijay didn’t nominate any celebrity, it was Surya who has nominated the likes of Aamir Khan, Mahesh Babu and Sudeep from Hindi, Telugu and Kannada industries. However, it’s been a fort night that Surya challenged these Superstars and ironically none of them have turned up for the challenge and there are no signs of their acceptance as well.

The challenge was initiated for a noble cause of setting up a clean and green world and it’s saddening to see Aamir, Mahesh and Sudeep failing to take up the challenge and spread the noble cause.
