No U.S. Premiers Today

Thanks to Covid, not many films are releasing in the last two weeks. The same is the case this week as well. Only Vishal‘s new film Samanyudu will be out along with a few low-budget films in the Telugu states.

But in the US, there will be no premieres today for Samanyudu. In fact, there is no premiere for any other films as well. Starting from 11th February with Ravi Teja’s Khiladi, there will be a plethora of releases that will be out and also have US premieres.

Samanyudu is directed by debutant Thu Pa Saravanan that comes up with the tagline ‘Not A Common Man’. Vishal himself is producing the film on his Vishal Film Factory (VFL) banner. The film’s teaser, trailer, and other promotional content did not create much hype in Telugu.

Vishal also needs to score a good hit as some of his previous films were just below-par fares in Telugu. As there is not much competition for the film, if it gets a good talk, it will help the makers a bit. But on a general note, there are no US premieres and also not much buzz in Telugu states.
