Not Aishwarya Rai, Kamal’s Heroine as Lakshmi Parvathi

The makers of ‘Lakshmi’s Veeragrandham had roped in the lead actress to essay the role of Lakshmi Parvathi. She is none other than Pooja Kumar who we had watched romance Kamal Haasan in ‘Vishwaroopam’ and recently played the wife of Rajasekhar in ‘PSV Garuda Vega’.

She suits the role as she looks a bit aged and it has to be seen how she will be made to look like Lakshmi Parvathi, regarding the looks and body language. As Pooja Kumar isn’t a lookalike of Sr. NTR’s second wife, the focus might be on the body language and behaviour traits.

Director Kethireddy Jagadeeshwar Reddy is keen on roping in Bollywood actor Mahesh Manjrekar to essay the role of NTR. He was last seen in Akhil’s debut movie as the heroine’s father.

According to the director’s say, Lakshmi Parvathi called the makers and asked them to remove her name from the titles and they didn’t oblige. Let’s see how the film progresses amidst multiple controversies and threatening.
