Not all South folks are dark

Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor will be soon seen together in a film called Gori Teri Pyaar Mein. The film will see actor Imran Khan play the role of a South Indian guy who falls in love with character of Kareena Kapoor. Both Imran and Kareena have started promoting the film and at one such event a question was thrown at them by a journo about the character plausibility of Imran Khan.

Kareena Kapoor was quick to retort to this question and said that there are a number of people in South who do look like Imran Khan and that not all of them are dark as is being stereotyped. She also answered another question about thick accent of South Indian and showed them the example of sportsmen and engineers and doctors from South, who, have no such accent. She asked the media to stop such pushing the stereotypes and be open in their worldview. Don’t you all agree with her view for a change?

Gori Teri Pyaar Mein is directed by Punit Malhotra and is produced by Karan Johar. This is the second time Imran and Kareena are paired together after Ek Main Aur Ek Tu which was a decent success at the box office. The film hits the screens worldwide on November 22.
