Not Nag, Chai’s Script was Recommended by Venkatesh

Generally, it’s Nagarjuna who takes care of choosing the scripts for his elder son Naga Chaitanya. But, this time it is his uncle Venkatesh who recommended the script ‘Yuddham Sharanam’, an action film.

Naga Chaitanya is confident on this action caper, the genre which hadn’t been his cup of tea, since the beginning of his career. He started with a youth action film ‘Josh’, which turned out to be a big flop beginning for Naga Chaitanya. Later, action films like ‘Bejawada’ also proved wrong choices for the Akkineni scion.

The present confidence he has got from back to back successes might have made Naga Chaitanya choose an action movie. SS Rajamouli’s son SS Karthikeya is making his debut with this movie as a line producer. With this movie, Chai is venturing into Tami cinema.
