Not Rajini, Not Vijay, He Announced Rs. 1 Cr

When it comes to charity, Raghava Lawrence is no less than any superstar in the Tamil Film Industry. Once again, the choreographer turned filmmaker’s big heart is evident when he spent Rs. 1 crore to supply food and medicine for the protestors who are participating in the protests against Jallikattu ban.

Thousands of protestors are coming to Chennai’s Marina Beach to express their solidarity and agitate against the bull taming traditional sport. While other big names like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Vijay and many others are supporting the protests by voicing their opinions, no one announced any monetary help for conducting such agitations on a massive scale.

Lawrence is known for his charity works since long and we know that he runs a charity organization for orphan kids who are differently abled. So, it comes very naturally for him to extend help to the needy. This kind of support is winning hearts for him. Kudos!
