NOTA started on a below average talk, and it has not sustained anywhere. The political genre is further limiting the potential here for the movie. It might have been a different case had it been a regular commercial fare. They tend to fare better even with below par talks.
In Tamil Nadu, it was always going to be an uphill task what with the movies in competition getting excellent reviews. As it is, NOTA got a weak release, and now, post-weekend the screens would be reduced further. The opening was decent considering the release it had, and it has helped it find a place among the top 5 for the weekend at the third position.
