With War 2 shaping up to be the most awaited film of 2025, all eyes are on NTR as he gears up for a high-voltage face-off with Hrithik Roshan. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, this film marks NTR’s grand Bollywood debut — but controversy has crept in from an unexpected corner.
Eshwar Harris, a longtime body double who has worked with Jr. NTR across many films, recently appeared on a YouTube channel and casually opened up about not being involved in War 2.
Eshwar Harris revealed that he was called for the project due to NTR’s leaner physique compared to Hrithik Roshan. However, since he was not satisfied with the remuneration offered, he dropped the offer.
While on the surface this interview may seem harmless, this kind of behavior is not just unethical — it’s a serious breach of trust.
In an industry where body doubles are common and necessary, their role is built on discretion and professionalism. Publicly discussing behind-the-scenes details and revealing sensitive information only tarnishes the image of the star they represent.
It not only betrays professional ethics but also opens the door for online trolling and fan wars. Clips of such interviews are now being weaponized by rival fans to create unnecessary negativity and hatred on social media.
A body double’s job is to support the actor’s performance, not to chase attention or gossip for a few minutes of fame.
Eshwar Harris’ reckless comments have crossed a line, and it is high time the production teams step in. Strict action must be taken against such individuals to set an example.
Trust and loyalty matter in this profession — and breaking that trust should come with consequences.
