Official: Powerstar’s Comeback With Pink Remake

Well, the buzz surrounding Powerstar Pawan Kalyan comeback to movies has been gaining momentum for the past few weeks. A film with Krish and Pink remake were mostly in circulation with some confusion initially, if they were the same.

So, now we have an official confirmation. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan will be making a comeback with Pink remake in Telugu. Boney Kapoor who holds the rights for the Hindi original and produced it in Tamil (Nerkonda Paarvai with Ajith), will co-produce the movie in Telugu. Dil Raju will be the other one. A director from his camp, Venu Sriram will direct the film.

The remake won’t be as it is compared to the Hindi Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan. It will be more on the lines of Tamil version which had Ajith in the lead. Changes are being to give it a Telugu commercial touch. What’s more, a big name and Pawan Kalyan’s friend is expected to provide the dialogues, but official confirmation on that is awaited.

Pink is about a gang of girls who face life threats from influential people for their behaviour. The male lead, originally essayed by Amitabh Bachchan was a lawyer who defends the girls against them. The casting of female parts, therefore, is very critical. Let’s wait for the update of them next.
