Official: Vikram’s Mahaan OTT Release Date

Chiyaan Vikram and his son Dhruv are acting together in a film titled Mahaan. The movie has skipped its theatrical release and is arriving directly on OTT. Amazon Prime Video has bagged the Direct-to-OTT rights of the film in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.

The movie and its dubbing versions will be out on Amazon Prime Video on February 10th. Karthik Subbaraj who previously directed Pizza, Rajinikanth’s Petta, and Dhanush’s Jagame Thandhiram is wielding the megaphone for this film.

Dhruv made his debut with Aditya Varma, the Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster, Arjun Reddy. The movie failed at the box office. He joined hands with his father for his second film. It is a disappointment for the young man that the movie is not releasing in theaters.

Karthik Subbaraj’s previous film, Jagame Thandhiram also had an OTT release on Netflix but failed to impress the audience. He would look to make amends to that failure with Mahaan.
