Official word clears suspense over Temp Secretariat

Andhra Pradesh government had finally cleared the suspense about the location of the Temporary Secretariat. It will come up at Velagapudi, one of the capital notified villages. The Temporary Secretariat will be constructed in survey numbers 205,206,207,208 and 214.

The Temporary Secretariat will come up with Six Lakh Square Feet office space and will be a two storeyed building. The government will be calling for tenders for the construction which will cost 180 Crore.

The government also clarified that the Seed Capital will be coming up in Uddandarayunipalem, Thallayipalem and Vengayapalem. These villages will house the permanent secretariat, Raj Bhavan and Assembly.
