Trailer Talk: Sci-Fi Blended With Family Drama

Sci-fi and family drama are two completely contrasting genres. They are as contrasting as they can get. But here’s one film that brings together these two completely different genres an set-ups – Oke Oka Jeevitham.

The Sharawanand starrer is announced for release on the 9th of this month and the trailer for the same dropped a little while ago.

The trailer starts with the establishment of Sharwa’s character. He is seen as a musician. He still has found memories of his seemingly deceased mother, played by Amala. Following a series of incidents, Sharwa actually gets to go back in time with help from a scientist, Nassar and even gets to meet his mother.

“Set right the past. Set right the future” a couple of shots in the trailer read and they could be a depiction of the theme of the film. Blending science fiction with family drama is a tough job. But if the team gets it right, then there is good scope for fresh and exciting entertainment.

Sharwa looks sharp. Ritu Varma plays his love interest. Amala looks natural in a homely role. Vennela Kishore and Priyadarshi are also seen in the trailer. There is Nassar as well. So, there is good padding in terms of cast. The CGI does look good, as stated by Sharwa in an exclusive interview with M9.news.

The background score and the visuals in the trailer are sharp. All that is needed now is a compelling narrative to gel it all together.

Oke Oka Jeevitham is up for release on the 9th of this month. The film is directed by Shree Karthick and it is produced by SR Prabhu.
