Old Tweet Comes to Haunt Shruti Haasan After ‘Salaar’ Announcement

Sometimes, what one would have said without thinking and without foresight might come to haunt us, big time. That’s what is happening with Shruti Haasan after ‘Salaar’ announcement came declaring Shruti Haasan as the female lead alongside Prabhas.

Back in 2017, clarifying on a rumour that surfaced, Shruti wrote on social media page that she has no plans of doing a Kannada film in the near future and had no discussion with anyone regarding her Kannada movies. This clarification was regarding ‘Pogaru’ movie.

But, the social media users who found out the tweet are taking that out of the context and trolling her. Nothing can go unnoticed by netizens these days and so, trolls are now questioning how come she is a part of a pan-Indian project by a Kannada film director.
