Yesteryear heroine Kushboo who is now active in politics is said to be the forerunner for pairing up with Rajinikanth. There are other yesteryear heroines too in the race. Vidya Balan is already finalised to play the main female lead opposite Rajni in the ‘Kabali’ director’s directorial.

It is confirmed that Deepika Padukone was never in consideration for playing the lead in Pa Ranjith’s movie. We know about the rumours that were in circulation regarding Deepika. However, the director said it was a rumour. Now, the speculations on Kushboo’s inclusion will be on board.
