Revealed – ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 2’ Saved for Venkatesh

Omkar directorial ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 2’ is going to come into theatres on coming 13th October. We are eagerly waiting to see Nagarjuna as a mentalist and his daughter-in-law as a ghost. Revealing during a promotional interview, Omkar said that he wrote ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 2‘ for Venkatesh.

Venky who was busy with ‘Guru’ and other projects told Omkar to wait. But, on a condition. Omkar must keep the story in reserve for Venkatesh only. So, the anchor turned filmmaker had to take the basic story from the Malayalam film ‘Pretam’ and make heavy changes to the original to suit our audiences.

Besides this, when Nagarjuna came into the scene to play the mentalist, he had to make more changes to satisfy the Akkineni hero’s fans. Then came Samantha. Once again, Omkar did heavy changes to the script to make her role interesting. Finally, only the basic concept of ‘Pretam’ was taken and that’s why it is not a remake concludes Omkar.
