Death on Rajinikanth Film Sets!

A huge set worth Rs. 5 crores has been erected in Chennai for the shooting of the next schedule of ‘Kaala, Karikaalan‘. The massive set was erected in EVP Studios, Poonamalle. A member of the crew stepped on a live wire and eventually, he died.

Michael stepped on a live wire on the sets and was electrocuted. The crew members present on the set responded immediately and took him to a hospital. But, Michael passed away in the hospital. Police are investigating the death case. High voltage current was said to be passing through the live wire.

This mishap happened yesterday, 22nd June, Thursday. Further details about the man and how the makers of the movie are going to compensate for his family are not known as of now. It is sad that the makers didn’t take proper safety measures and left a live wire without protection.
