One more secret chamber surfaced in Temple!

After Ananta Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Secret Chamber is now found in Sri Ranganadha Temple in Tiruchy, Tamil Nadu. This chamber was found when the temple is being renovated for the upcoming Kumbhabhishekam. The archaeology department had removed a mud wall in Venu Gopal Temple and found a way leading to a secret chamber.

Once they went inside they have found a secret chamber at 12 feet deep. The chamber is five feet wide and 20 feet high. They are expecting that these chambers may be constructed in 10th Century BC by Hoysala Kings.

The officials did not find any items in the chamber but they say the temple is likely to have few more secret chambers like that. The archaeology department officials of Chennai are taking up the excavation works there. As huge treasure is previously found in the Secret Chambers of Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Kerala, there is an air of excitement and curiosity every where regarding this temple too.
