One year of colossal waste called Sunil

A year has gone by since we saw Sunil on big screen. The last time we saw him was in the film Bheemavaram Bullodu which released for Shiva Rathri last year. Since then it has been one announcement after the other but nothing has been in sets so far.

Sunil before turning hero was one of the most prolific comedian in Telugu cinema without any doubt. His presence alone had lifted many films from being utterly boring. However with the comedian turning into a hero it has been a huge void to fill. In an indirect way so much pressure has been put on Brahmanandam to cover up that void which is creating an imbalance in movies. The sadder part here is there is no one else that is able to occupy his place in such an efficient manner.

With the actor not doing the comedy parts and also not doing the hero roles, he is simply wasting the colossal talent that he has to entertain. The recent passing away of comedians has further put dent into the comedy space of Telugu cinema. Under these circumstances seeing Sunil doing nothing and sitting idle sure looks sore to a movie lovers eye.

We hope the comedian cum actor pays attention to the audience’s grievances and does more than worthwhile with his talent. Here’s hoping that he doesn’t end up wasting one more year.
