Jiah Khan’s death was a tragic event and ever since her death, her mother has constantly asserted that Jiah’s death was not a suicide but a homicide despite it being claimed as suicide. It has been over six months since the day Jiah had been found hanging from the ceiling fan in her apartment and her mother Rabia has been alleging that Suraj Pancholi is the person behind the murder and in this regard, she has started an online petition in order to seek justice for her daughter.
The petition also requests the Union home minister to intervene so that there could be a proper investigation into the case. Rabia asserts that they have found “indisputable evidence of scientific and medical reports” that all point to a homicide but they are receiving no cooperation for the police. This has led to her creating the petition which has been signed by 50 supporters online till now.
