Chiranjeevi & Pawan Kalyan Left with Only Option!

Megastar Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan are two of the biggest stars in Telugu cinema. But they both are making one seriously damaging mistake and here’s a report on the same.

Chiru and Pawan are charging high remunerations and are not bothered about the making values of their films.

70% of the film making cost is going to the remuneration of these heroes. Only 30% is going into production, which is in turn resulting in poor making values and hurried wrap of production, which are both costing their films big time.

In case of other heroes like Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Allu Arjun, and others, their non theatrical markets are huge. They event have good revenue holds in other language markets which comes as an added source of revenue for their films.

For instance(numbers are subjective), if Mahesh, NTR, Bunny are paid Rs 100 crores remuneration, another Rs 100 crores is spent on production. Their vast markets come into play then and their films tend to end up in safe zone and then reap profits based on the reception from audiences.

In case of Chiru and Pawan’s films, say the film budget is Rs 100 crore, only 30 crore is being spent on production and 70 crore is going as remuneration. This is resulting in poor content quality.

As a result, Chiru and Pawan are not even able to find good directors and technicians, given the strictly limited making costs. They’re having to settle with small directors who are more likely to miss than hit. Classic examples are Bholaa Shankar and Bro.

What Chiru and Pawan can do is expand their market beyond the Telugu states. But this takes a lot of time and effort. So, the only immediate way out for the two mega stars is to reduce their remunerations and go for better production quality if they’re to roll out their own standard of films. Else, things have already gone south and it will continue to sink further.
