Oopiri breathing slowly- but steadily!

The weekend gone by has been superb for the film Oopiri. It opened decently and maintained that position throughout the weekend. All eyes were on the first Monday though to see if it passed the Monday test.

So what was Monday like? Well, let’s just say the film breathing slowly but it is steady nonetheless. Unlike in overseas where Oopiri is doing phenomenal, locally the film is doing good. It is getting good numbers from the cities, courtesy of the multiplexes. But in smaller centers it’s not on the same level, of course it isn’t bad either.

Oopiri has so far collected nearly 8 Cr from the two Telugu states which means the film is heading for a decent number for the first week if it manages to hold onto current flow.
