Oopiri director struggle for Mid-Point

For the people who have watched the original French Film ‘Intouchables’, it will be clear that the story ends with the bonding developed between the principal characters. But director Vamsi Paidipally has to extend the story in ‘Oopiri’ beyond interval.

That has been a real challenge for the film maker because, he has to struggle to work for an Mid-Point that would allow the story to extend further post-interval. Then an idea stuck him that would be of an emotional high and will continue the soul of the film throughout.

Though the film maker could really continued the soul, without resorting too many gimmicks like in regular Telugu films, it seemed a bit dragged in the second half. Nevertheless, Vamsi need to be complimented for the way he could extend from the mid-point, which we call as interval part.
