Why did director Vamshi Paidipally chose to do the adaptation of the French film ‘The Intouchables’ in Telugu and Tamil? It’s due to that one line for the movie he took up the project says Vamshi. What’s that line?

‘A physically impaired billionaire and a socially disabled slumdog’ is the line which inspired that he must take up the project and adapt it to the sensibilities of South-Indian audiences. He chose this film to make his debut into Tamil films.

Karthi too chose this film to make his debut into straight Telugu films which he had been planning since long. So according to that one line that inspired Vamsi, Karthi is playing that socially disabled slumdog. Nag, of course is playing the billionaire.
