Opinion: Mahesh Babu Can Never Do A Pokiri Again!

During the promotional campaign of Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Mahesh Babu repeatedly said the film is on the lines of Pokiri. He said the film will have Pokiri vibes.

But if we take a look at Sarkaru Vaari Paata, it is not even remotely close to Pokiri. But in all fairness, Mahesh might never be able to recreate Pokiri magic.

Pokiri is one of those rare films that strikes a chord in every aspect, action, comedy, songs, and others. Everything fell into place for this film and it can’t be recreated by planning in a certain way.

Mahesh might have been confident about Sarkaru Vaari Paata but his prediction about the film being on the lines of Pokiri has gone badly wrong.

Age is another factor for Mahesh Babu. During Pokiri time he was young and agile. He had the sharp movements which oozed energy. Given that he is aging, it is tough for him to recreate the enigmatic presence.
