Oscar winner apologizes to Aamir Khan

Oscar Award winner Resul Pookutty has run into trouble over misquoting by a print media and this made the sound designer apologize to the person he was misquoted against, Aamir Khan. Resul Pookutty was talking about his specialized field sound mixing and gave an example of a show to highlight the importance of it and how the sound makes the show seem more real with no emotional blackmailing.

The tabloid to which Resul gave the interview too took this point completely out of context and concocted its own mixture by bringing Satyamev Jayate. It was written that Resul has called Aamir’s show to be something that emotionally blackmails the audience and hence doctored. Resul Pookutty when he came to know about this immediately took to the social networking site and condemned it and offered apologies to the star. He said that the show has done what the government couldn’t in years. Well, yet another case of how manipulations are being done in media.
