Oscars 2023: RRR’s Naatu Naatu Wins Nomination

In a historic feat for Telugu cinema, RRR has made its entry into the list of nominations for Oscars 2023. The film has won the nomination in Best Original Song category.

RRR’s electrifying dance number, Naatu Naatu is one of the nominees for Oscars 2023 and the same was confirmed at the Oscars nominations announcement a short while ago.

Obviously, this is the first time a Telugu film went this far at the mighty Oscars and this is history for the entire industry, and also Indian cinema.

While there has always been anticipation that Naatu Naatu might make it to the Oscars nominations, the song has actually made the nation proud by actually making it to the final nominees’ list.

RRR missed out on other categories like Best Picture, Best Director, and others. But this was always far-fetched, given that the Rajamouli directorial is a commercial entertainer and Oscars nominations wasn’t what was in mind while Rajamouli, Ram Charan, Jr NTR came together for the film.
