OTT Hit Film Getting Remade In Telugu

Chiranjeevi’s Godfather(Lucifer remake) isn’t the only Malayalam film that is being remade in Telugu. There’s another small Malayalam film that is being remade here and it is Kappela.

The Telugu remake of Kappela is in the production stage now and the makers have started off the promotional campaign by unveiling a new poster.

In the newly released poster, we see Anikha Surendran of Viswasam fame sporting a homely girl look. The film has been titled Butta Bomma and the same is confirmed through the poster that was dropped today.

This film has Anikha and Khaithi fame Arjun Das in the lead roles and it is being directed by Shouree Chandrasekhar and Ramesh T.

S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are producing the film. The theatrical release date will be officially announced soon.

Kappela is one of Malayalam cinema’s outings that had a very limited and restricted theatrical run in theaters due to Covid and later went on to become a hit on OTT. It remains to be seen if the Telugu remake can emulate the original’s result. OTT Hit Film Getting Remade In Telugu
