OTT Partners Of Today’s Theatrical Releases

Tollywood box office saw two new theatrical outings today. The said films are Love Today, the Telugu dubbed version of a Tamil film with the same title, and then, Allari Naresh’s serious social drama, Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam.

Now the discussion is about the OTT streaming partners of these two new theatrical outings.

Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam’s post theatrical OTT streaming rights are with ZEE5. That’s understandable given that ZEE Studios were the ones who bankrolled the film.

As for Love Today, the film’s post-theatrical OTT rights are with Netflix. The deal should’ve been closed even before the release of the Telugu version as the Tamil version released earlier this month and it was a raginng hit there.

Both ZEE5 and Netflix are not too eager to give their films early OTT releases so we can expect delayed OTT debuts for both the new theatrical outings.
