OTT Partners Of Today’s Theatrical Releases

Telugu box office witnessed two new theatrical releases today. They are Major and Vikram. Both these films are content driven ones.

Coming to the OTT partners of these two films, the post theatrical digital streaming rights of Major is acquired by Netflix while Vikram’s OTT rights are held by Disney+ Hotstar.

Team Major has stated that the film will not arrive on OTT at least 60 days from the theatrical release.

As for Vikram, the makers had previously hinted that Disney+ Hotstar paid a whopping amount of money for the all-language OTT rights of the film.

Both Major and Vikram have the desired impetus to attract OTT audience, given that they are content driven films, and we need to wait and see how they work out for their respective OTT partners.
