OTT Platforms Also Losing Steam?

OTT Platforms have come to the rescue of the audience who are bogged down by the boredom of the Lockdown. No shootings and no releases ensured that the film industry is unlikely to entertain the audience in the near future. Meanwhile, it looks like OTT can also not entertain the audience forever.

After an aggressive streak of releases, all OTT platforms have slowed down considerably. This is their reserves from the Regional Cinema is almost finished. There were few films in their kitty which will be over sooner or later. If the shootings do not begin and the movies do not release, OTT platforms will also run out of the content.

They can not churn out their own content for the same reasons as the film industry i.e., no shootings. If the shootings are allowed, they will try to release at least their own content every now and then.
